RemindPaid Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RemindPaid (remindpaid.com), a service run by its sole proprietor. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use RemindPaid.

The Service

RemindPaid is an invoice-reminder tool for freelancers. You enter invoice details (client name, client email, invoice number, amount, currency, due date, and optional payment link or late fee). We send polite payment reminders on your behalf: 3 days before the due date, on the due date, and 7 and 14 days after. Reminders come from reminders@send.remindpaid.com and show your name as the sender. Every reminder includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Clients who unsubscribe or mark a message as spam are added to a suppression list and receive no further reminders. We do not store invoice files.

An optional “scan to autofill” feature lets you upload an invoice image or PDF. The file is sent once to Google’s Gemini API to read the fields, then discarded immediately. We never save or log the file itself; we only keep a timestamp of the scan for rate limiting.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of all invoice data you enter. Only enter real invoices for your actual clients. You must not use the service to send unsolicited commercial email, spam, or anything that violates the CAN-SPAM Act or other law.

You are solely responsible for following the rules of your own state (and any other applicable law) on late fees, collections, and consumer protection. RemindPaid is not a collections agency and does not guarantee that any invoice will be paid.

Plans and Billing

The free plan allows up to 3 active invoices. A Pro plan ($12 per month or $99 per year) is coming soon and will be billed through Stripe.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel. Before you subscribe we will clearly disclose the price, billing frequency, and cancellation method. You can cancel anytime online with a process that is as easy as signing up. We will send advance notice of renewal where required by applicable state law. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund unused portions of a billing period except where your state’s law requires it.

AI Autofill

Scan-to-autofill results may be inaccurate. You must review and correct every field before saving an invoice. You remain fully responsible for the content of every reminder sent on your behalf.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, use the service for spam or illegal purposes, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is.” We disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights or remedies that your state’s consumer-protection laws give you.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California (the state where the sole proprietor resides), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not override any non-waivable consumer protections of your home state.

Before filing a lawsuit, both parties will try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting support@remindpaid.com. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may bring a claim in small-claims court in the county where either party resides. You and we waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and, if the changes are material, notify you by email or in the product. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
